Q: Does the ReStore accept personal checks?
A:
Yes. However, the check must have a local address, phone number, and driver's license number in order to be accepted. In addition, the store gladly accepts cash, credit, and debit.

Q: Can I return an item I bought?
A:
All sales are final. However, appliances and electronics only can be returned within 14 days, with the original receipt.

Q: I found an item I like, but it's too big to take home today, Can I still buy it?
A:
Only purchased items too large to fit into the customer's vehicle (as determined by the ReStore staff) will be placed in the ReStore holding area for customer pickup. Items will remain on hold for seven (7) days. At the end of business on the 7th day, unclaimed purchased items will be considered donated to the ReStore and returned to the ReStore sales floor to be available for purchase. No refunds or exchanges will be given for purchased items left for more than seven (7) days.

Q: Can I place an item on hold or layaway?
A:
ReStore does not have a layaway plan, but items can be placed on HOLD. Items tagged as HOLD will only remain on hold for 24 hours. However, items will not be placed on HOLD on Tuesday's.

Q How are the items priced?
A:
All items are priced between 50%-90% (and sometimes more!) of the retail value. We try to do research online to make sure the prices are low but fair.

Q: Is the ReStore open to the public?
A:
Yes! Check out our Location and Hours page for more information.

Q: Where do the proceeds from the sales go?
A:
All of the proceeds go directly to the Habitat for Humanity Greenville County, to build homes for low-income families in the Greenville County area. Visit the Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County website (www.HabitatGreenville.org) for more information.
